Upon seeing Sunye and Yeeun’s performance of “When You Believe” and having no knowledge of Wonder Girls, my mom asked me, “Is she a Christian?” (Referring to Sunye.)
“Yes,” I replied, “a very devout one; they both are [Christian]… How could you tell?”
“During the time she was singing, she was doing that ‘praise Jesus’ hand motion that all the singers in church do, you know? You shouldn’t judge based on looks, but just looking at her, I think she must have a very kind heart.”
